Comment recharger ma bougie ?

Suivez ces 5 étapes simples :

  1. Laissez fondre votre bougie jusqu’au bout pour consumer toute la cire.
  2. Placez votre pot au congélateur pendant 15 minutes. Le reste de cire va se rétracter et se décoller tout seul.
  3. Retirez les socles métalliques des mèches et nettoyez le fond du pot à l'aide d'une petite cuillère.
  4. Choisissez la recharge de la fragrance de votre choix (de la même taille que votre pot).
  5. Insérez simplement votre nouvelle recharge dans le pot propre. Votre bougie est prête à briller de nouveau.

Hand-poured in our La Rochelle workshop, the Bois de Oud refill uses the same clean and responsible composition as all our other products.scented candles made with vegetable wax:

•Fragrance from Grasse, formulated without phthalates or CMR substances
•Cotton wickunbleached and lead-free

The woody richness of oud and the roundness of amber are subtly restored thanks to a clean, stable and long-lasting combustion.

For a warm, woody, and perfectly even diffusion:

• Clean your jar thoroughly before inserting the refill.
• Select the refill that corresponds to the correct size (small, medium, large).
• When first lighting, allow the wax to melt completely for even burning.
• Trim the cotton wick to 5 mm before each use.
• Never let the candle burn for more than 4 consecutive hours.
• Keep out of reach of children, animals and drafts.

The Oud Wood refill allows you to keep your handcrafted jar while simply replenishing the wax, without replacing the jar or producing unnecessary waste. Once your candle is finished, simply clean the jar and insert a new refill to enjoy the warm, woody, spicy, and oriental scent of Oud Wood.

Does the refill include a jar?

No. It only contains the scented wax block and the wick, so that you can keep your Aglaé jar and extend its lifespan.

Is the Oud refill compatible with all Aglaé pots?

Yes, you just need to choose the right size. All our refills are designed to fit perfectly into handcrafted pots.

Is the diffusion as intense as with the Oud Wood candle?

Yes. The refill offers the same woody and oriental power as theOud Wood Candle, with identical combustion.

Can I switch from another fragrance to Bois de Oud?

Absolutely. The system is designed so that you can freely explore all the fragrances: Forest, Tonka, Incense… or return to the depth of Oud.
